PPAF
Name Origin:
Lemon Top, a sport of Lemon Meringue (which was a sport of Global Green), is called it because the new growth comes out golden-yellow. As the leaves mature, they become more green.
Growth Habit:
This selection is similar to other Epipremnum aureum varieties with climbing/trailing stems.
Leaf Blade:
Leaves are produced alternately along the plant stem. They are cordate in shape, emerging a golden-yellow, becoming chartreuse green as they harden, and maturing a medium to dark green color. Foliage typically shows a "minty" look as it matures.
Bloom and Fruit:
Neither flowering nor fruiting has not been observed in this cultivar.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
Compared to its parent, Lemon Meringue, Epipremnum Lemon Top leaves lack variegation --- they don't feature any type of regular variegation.
Compared to Global Green, it does not feature variegated dark green edges.
Compared to Olivia, it does not feature dark green variegation.
