Base Species or Cultivar:
Cultivar Origin:
Hybrid created by Quinton Hausermann in 2021, at E.F.G. Orchids in Deland, Florida.
Name Origin:
This plant is a cross that I created, by pollinating our Anthurium Faustomirandae with pollen from Anthurium Pedatoradiatum "Fingers". We are growing over a thousand seedlings from 5 different seed pods on the same mother plant. This hybrid was named Titan Fingers, because many of these plants are already producing giant thick leathery fingers with each new leaf.
Growth Habit:
Terrestrial Growth Habit.
Leaf Blade:
As they mature, the leaves are becoming harder, and more leathery like Anthurium Faustomirandae. Many of the seedlings are already developing fingers from the pollen parent pedatoradiatum.
Bloom and Fruit:
Spadix enclosed by a spathe, with berries.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
The most similar species to our hybrid would be Anthurium Pedatum.
